Orlan — offshore drilling platform
Currently, the Orlan platform is successfully operating at the Chaivo field. Interestingly, it was previously called "Glomar Beaufort Sea". Initially, the platform was operated by ExxonMobil off the coast of Alaska. However, in 2001 it was relocated to Russia. After transportation to Sovetskaya Gavan, the platform underwent modernization. It is especially important that its foundation was completely redesigned by Russian specialists.
